Functional description

3.1

Switching on

The MEGAPULS welding unit is switched on at the main switch. The lower digital
display shows the machine type (250), the date, the program number (i.e. P2.0)
and the version number of the data record (i.e. d01) for seven seconds. The
upper left digital display shows the machine type (250) and the lower right display
shows the operational status (i.e. on). During this time all LEDs are lit. After 7
seconds, the left display will show the nominal values for energy (A, m/min, mm)
and the right display will show those for voltage, as set in the program settings of
the unit on activation. The display LEDs for the welding function and welding
procedures settings will also be lit. The welding unit is now ready for operation.
