After the start current duration, the welding current changes from the start
current value to the value set for welding

The welding current is deactivated after the burn back time has elapsed

The inert gas is switched off after the gas post flow time has elapsed.

Unit is ready for another welding procedure.

3.3.5 Spots

The Spot function enables timely accurate spot welding, for example, for identical
stitch welds. After pressing the torch button, the welding process is automatically
terminated by the process controller after the set spot time has been completed.
The spot time can be freely selected in the Special parameters sub menu (see
Chapter 3.11).
How the spot function works:
 Press the torch button

Magnet valve for inert gas is opened.

Welding voltage is applied

Wire feed starts at reduced speed

Arc is ignited

Welding current flows

Feed switches over to the set wire feed rate.

When the set spot time is completed, the current source is deactivated
automatically.

Wire feed stops

The welding current is deactivated after the burn back time has elapsed.

The inert gas is switched off after the gas post flow time has elapsed.
 Release the torch button

Releasing the torch button during spot time ends the welding process
immediately, and the inert gas is switched off after the gas post flow time
is completed.
3.4

Press button for welding procedure

The press button [24] is used to select the welding procedure required: pulse
welding, double pulse welding, MIG/MAG welding conventional, electrode and
TIG welding. The setting is made by pressing the button [24], and the display
LEDs light to show the selected mode.
