The right-hand digital display special parameter [9] shows the value of the
special parameter. A detailed description of the special parameters is given in
Chapter 3.11.

3.6.2.3 Display error description

The processor controller of the MEGAPULS 250 monitors a multitude of relevant
functions during operation. If a fault or error is determined this is displayed using
an error description (e.g. CFG) in the right-hand digital display and welding is
interrupted or prevented. A detailed description can be found in Chapter 7.3.
3.6.4 Digital display, program, job, manual and
information

3.6.3.1 Digital display, program

Pressing the push button [22] alongside the lower digital display [21] allows the
user to select the setting type, synergic welding program, job or manual.
Display synergic welding programs: The selected welding
program is displayed (e.g. 002). An overview of the welding
programs can be found on the inside of the side door of the wire
feed unit (see Chapter 3.11.1).
Display Job: The selected Job is displayed (e.g. 1-01).
Display Manual: The selected welding program is displayed (e.g.
002)

3.6.3.2 Digital display information

Pressing the push button [22] alongside the lower digital display [21] allows the
user to select the setting type, synergic welding program, job or manual. In the
digital display [21] the selected program number or selected job number is
displayed. Briefly pressing the push button INFO/MEM [18] causes information
(wire diameter, gas type, material) to be displayed for the selected program/job.
3.7 Rotating button for welding energy and special
parameters
The welding energy [15] rotating button allows you to select steplessly the
welding performance (welding current, wire feed rate, material thickness) and
thus specify the working point. Between the minimum and maximum settings,
any working point can be selected at will. The processor controller automatically
makes available all of the required parameters for the entire welding process.
The Special parameters sub-menu allows the user to select the parameters using
the rotating knob [15].
