3.12 Jobs

Saving, selecting, deleting, copying and changing a job.

3.12.1 Saving a job

After selecting a synergic welding program make the required
settings on the MEGAPULS 250.
Press and hold the INFO/MEM push button for approximately 5
seconds. The LED display for setting types [23] will jump from
SYN to JOB. Press the push buttons plus [19] or minus [20] to
select a free job number.
After selecting the job number, hold the INFO/MEM [18] push
button down until "Sto" appears on the digital display [21]. This
stores the job.
When the storage procedure has been completed, the most
recently stored job is displayed.
Free job numbers are identified by the "0" at the start of the number
(e.g. 0-01). Job numbers that have already been assigned have a "1" at
the start of the number (e.g. 1-01).

3.12.2 Selecting a job

A job is selected using the push buttons plus [19] and minus [20] below the digital
display [21].
Press the push button [22] to select the Job setting type.
Press the push buttons plus [19] and minus [20] to select the
required job number.
Briefly press the INFO/MEM [18] push button to show the
information on the digital display [21] (wire diameter, gas type and
material) that goes with the job selected.

3.12.3 Deleting a job

Deleting a job:
Press the buttons plus [19] and minus [20] to select the job
number to be deleted.
Hold down the INFO/MEM [18] push button (approx. 5 seconds)
until "clr" appears in the digital display [21]. The job is now deleted.
After deleting the job, the digital display [21] automatically moves
on to show the next job number.

3.12.4 Copying and changing a job

Copying and changing a job:
Press the push buttons plus [19] and minus [20] to select the
required job number.
Hold down the push button for functions [1] for 3 seconds. The
display LED [23] jumps to the setting type SYN and enables you to
