Functional description

3.11.1 Overview of the parameters

The Special parameters sub-menu allows you to modify and save the most
important parameters for welding. The special parameters are identified with a
parameter number (Pxx). In a series production model, or when calling the
factory setting (see Chapters 3.11.2 and 3.11.4) these are set with the values of
the factory settings.

3.11.2 Setting the special parameters

The Special parameters sub-menu must be activated in order to set or modify the
special parameters.
The sub-menu is activated by pressing the Special parameters push
button [13]. The control LED [12] shows that the Special parameters
menu has been activated.
The selection of the required Special parameter or parameter
number is carried out using the Energy and Special parameters
rotating button [15].
The Voltage and Special parameters rotating button [14] allows the
user to modify the parameter value.
If all parameter values are to be reset to the factory settings, the
INFO/MEM [18] push button must be pressed for at least 4 seconds.
After 2 seconds, "Std" will start to blink on the lower digital display
[21]. After another 2 seconds the flashing will cease and the push
button INFO/MEM [18] can be released. Nothing will be displayed
on any of the three digital displays [5+9+21]. All parameters are
reset to the factory settings.
The Special parameters [13] push button must be pressed in order to exit the
sub-menu. The control LED Special parameter [12] will no longer be lit.
