Wheel guards
The wheel guards cover the upper part of the tyres
They consist of a plastic wing which is bolted to an
aluminium mounting plate To attach this to the chas-
sis, insert the free end of the mounting plate into the
upper slot of the wheel mount To attach the wheel
guard, proceed as follows:
Take the wheel guard and insert the groove-
shaped cutout section of the plate into the upper
groove of the of the axle block
Slide in the wheel guard as far as it will go You
should feel the plate engaging into the guide
Repeat the operation on the other side
For removal, pull out the wheel guard upwards
Spoke protectors
The spoke protectors have already been installed during
assembly at the factory No subsequent modifications
are possible Should a repair of the spoke protectors
become necessary, please contact your local supplier
Floating axles for front wheels
For removing the swivel wheels, proceed as follows:
Remove the seat unit (see section 711)
Fold up the SIMPLY
apply the parking brake in this case
Lift the front of the SIMPLY
front wheel is lifted from the ground
Press the rubber covering of the guide tube with
your thumb Thereby, a locking button located un-
der the covering is actuated
Hold the button pressed and remove the swivel
wheel with your other hand
Repeat the process on the other side
To attach the swivel wheels (eg after transporta-
tion) proceed in reverse order The wheels must
engage audibly

In the course of implementing the Medical Device Re-
gulation (MDR), it was necessary for manufacturers of
medical devices to confirm mutual compatibility insofar
as products are used together� The respective intended
purpose and associated intended performance of our
individual products should of course not be impaired
or lost in the process� This applies in particular to the
attachment of auxiliary drives or stair climbing aids�
The combination of a SIMPLY undercarriage with the
additional drives / stair climbing aids listed below is
permissible� The respective required compatibility
certificate is available and can be provided at any time
upon request�
Caution!
The attachment of auxiliary drives as
well as stair climbing aids is only possi-
ble in connection with a stabilizer (Art� No� 73030)�
The creation of a connection between the upper
and lower frames of the SIMPLY undercarriage is
mandatory for the stabilization of the entire unit�

necessary attachment parts of the respective
manufacturers are to be used�
