Unlock the seat shell fixation by pulling the locking pin
and turning it 90° (Fig 3)
Position the seat unit with the rear part of the trap-
ezoidal adaptor on the trapezoidal plate (Fig 4) and
push the seat unit (and thereby the trapezoidal adaptor)
backwards into the trapezoid plate until the locking
pin engages audibly (Fig 5) Lock the seat shell fixa-
tion again by turning the locking pin once more by 90°
(Fig 3) At last, check that the seat shell and the lock
are firmly fixed
When attaching the seat shell with a locking pin, first
check whether the pin is locked Check whether the
release button is locked in If yes, the locking pin should
reach out on top of the adaptor plate If not, turn the
locking pin until it locks Position the seat unit with the
rear part of the trapezoidal adaptor on the trapezoidal
plate Push the seat unit (and thereby the trapezoidal
adaptor) backwards into the trapezoid plate until the
locking pin engages audibly
Caution!
Take care to always make sure that the
seat unit is closely attached to the chas-
sis and secured by the locking unit Take care to
always make sure that the locking of the trapezoi-
dal adaptor is engaged and that the seat unit can-
not be removed from the chassis

Removal of the seat unit
Pull the locking pin downward and turn by 90° (Fig 6)
Open the seat shell fixation by pushing down the lever
(Fig 7) Now you can pull the seat shell out towards
the front To remove the seat shell pull the locking pin
downward and turn by 90° This way the locking pin will
remain in its unlocked position Open the seat shell
fixation by pushing down the lever Now you can pull
the seat shell out towards the front Remove the seat
shell from the undercarriage Turn the locking pin until
it locks audibly
7.1.2. Adjusting the inclination angle of the seat shell
The SIMPLY is equipped with gas-pressure spring ad-
®
justment for inclination of the seat shell To adjust the
inclination angle of the seat shell, proceed as follows:
Activate the parking brakes (see section 716)

Pull both gas-pressure spring release levers

mounted on the push bar frame (Fig 8)
Adjust the inclination angle of the seat shell by

pulling the push bar up or pressing it down while
pulling both gas-pressure spring release levers
Let go of both release levers to lock the adjusted

inclination angle of the seat
Release the parking brakes, as appropriate (see

section 716)
