Options / Accessories

7.2.1. Basic configuration

Stabiliser
The stabiliser serves to fix the desired position of the
seat and, thereby, to guarantee more stability By re-
leasing the two lower clamping levers, the stabilisers
are unblocked Now, the two small release handles
on the sliding rod can be operated and the seat tilt
adjustment can be carried out When retightening the
lower clamping levers, the adjusted inclination is ad-
ditionally secured
Spacer block for front wheels (wheelbase extension)
The spacer blocks for the front wheels are pre-in-
stalled at the factory when the wheelchair is ordered
No subsequent adjustments are possible If an instal-
lation of spacer blocks becomes necessary at a later
date, please contact your local supplier
Knee lever brake (brake activated by pressure)
Sometimes it is necessary for a wheelchair to posses
additional braking action to cope with eventual diffi-
culties as, for example, ground conditions (on slopes
or when self-propelled) Knee lever brakes are used
in addition to the parking brake When ordered, they
will be assembled and adjusted at the factory In case
the braking action is reduced by distance – alteration
(wheel-knee lever brake), this can be regulated by ad-
justing the sliding nut in the C-rail
