@ Air filter
The air filter must be regularly cleaned from dust and dirt in order to avoid:
• Carburettor malfunctions • Starting problems • Engine power reduction
• Unnecessary wear on the engine parts • Abnormal fuel consumption
Clean the air filter daily or more often if the air is exceptionally dusty in the working
area.
Disassemble the air filter by removing the cylinder cover and unscrew the filter.
When reassembling, make sure that the filter is tight against the filter holder.
Loosen the air filter with a screw-driver or similar.
Clean the filter by brushing or shaking it.
A more thorough cleaning of the filter is obtained by washing it in water and soap.
An air filter, which is used for some time, cannot be cleaned completely. Therefore it
must be replaced by a new one, with regular intervals.

Luftfilter taglich reinigen, bei schwierigen Verhaltnissen ofter.
Vor dem Ausbau des Luftfilters ist derZylinderdeckel zu entfernen. Beim Wieder-
einbau darauf achten, dass der Luftfilter zum Filterhalter vollig abgedichtet ist.
Den Luftfilter mit einem Schraubenzieher o.a. losen.
Filter abschutteln oder abbursten. Eine grundlichere Reinigung geschieht durch
Auswaschen des Filters in Seifenwasser Oder Benzin.
Ein Luftfilter, der eine lange Zeit Verwendet wurde, wird nie vollkommen sauber.
Der Luftfilter ist daher in regelmassigen Abstanden auszuwechseln

Dbmonter le filtre b I'aide d'un tournevis, par exemple.
Nettoyer le filtre en le tapotant ou b I'aide d'une brosse.
Pour un nettoyage plus sbrieux, laver le filtre b I'eau savonneuse ou b I'essence.
Un filtre ayant servi longtemps ne peut plus btre complbtement nettoyb. Le filtre &
air doit done etre remplacb b intervalles rbguliers. Tout filtre endommagb doit btre
remplacb immediatement.

El filtro de aire debe mantenerse libre de polvo y suciedad a fin de evitar:
• perturbacionesenelfuncionamientodelcarburador • problemasdearranque
• pbrdidas de potencia • desgaste innecesario de las piezas del motor
• consumo de combustible excesivamente alto
Limpiar el filtro de aire diariamente, m£s a menudo si las condiciones de trabajo son
dificiles.
El filtro se desmonta quitando la cubierta del cilindro sacandolo. Vuelto a montar,
asegurarse de que se estanca la unibn con el soporte del filtro.
Soltar el filtro utilizando un destornillador o herramienta adecuada.
Sacudir o cepillar el filtro.
Para una limpieza mejor, lavarlo con agua jabonosao gasolina.
Losfiltrosquesehanutilizadodurantemuchotiemponoquedannuncacompleta-
mente limpios, por lo que es conveniente cambiar el filtro a intervalos regulares
remplazbndolo por otro nuevo.
Cambiar siempre un filtro danado.
