• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow
persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
• Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition
that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the
power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting
tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier
to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with
these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations
different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
• Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and
grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe
handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
Service
• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using
only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.
DETAILED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR GRASS SHEARS
• Never allow the machine to be used by children, persons with
reduced physical or mental abilities or persons without experience
and knowledge, or persons who have not read the instructions on
how to use the machine. Local regulations may limit the age of the
operator.
• Never operate the machine when people, especially children or
animals, are nearby.
• While working, do not lean over and keep a stable position enabling
you to keep your balance. Do not stand on slopes or run.
• Do not touch the dangerous moving parts until the machine is
disconnected from power and all dangerous moving parts have
come to a complete stop.
• Always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers when working.
• Disconnect the device from the power supply:
- Every time the user leaves the machine,
- Before removing the obstruction,
- Before checking, cleaning or working with the machine
- After hitting a foreign object, to inspect the machine for
damage,
- If the machine starts to vibrate excessively, check it
immediately.
• Never operate the machine with defective guards or screens or
without safety devices, or if the cable is damaged or worn.
• Never connect a damaged cable to the power supply or touch a
damaged cable until it has been disconnected from the power
supply, as damaged cables may lead to contact with live parts.
• Connect the machine only to a circuit protected by a residual current
device (RCD) with a tripping current of no more than 30 mA (applies
to mains powered devices)
• Avoid using the machine in bad weather conditions, especially when
there is a risk of electric discharge.
• Note. Despite the use of design solutions that are safe in
themselves, the use of technical protective measures and the
adopted supplementary protective measures, there is always a
residual risk associated with the use of the device.
HEDGE TRIMMER SAFETY WARNINGS
• Keep all parts of the body away from the blade. Do not remove cut
material or hold material to be cut when blades are moving. Blades
continue to move after the switch is
inattention while operating the hedge trimmer may result in serious

• Hold the hedge trimmer by insulated gripping surfaces only,
because the blade may contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Blades contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of
the hedge trimmer "live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
• Keep all power cords and cables away from cutting area. Power
cords or cables may be hidden in hedges or bushes and can be
accidentally cut by the blade.
• Do not use the hedge trimmer in bad weather conditions, especially
when there is a risk of lightning. This decreases the risk of being
struck by lightning.
Li-ion batteries can leak, ignite or explode if heated to high
temperatures or shorted out. They should not be stored in the car on
hot and sunny days. Do not open the battery. Li-Ion batteries contain
electronic devices that can cause the battery to catch fire or explode.
