9. REPLACEMENT OF THE TREATMENT UNIT

Necessary when the remaining capacity of 540m
passed since the commissioning or the last exchange of the treatment unit. The upcoming
replacement of the treatment unit is signalled by the permanently lit red LED and the acoustic
signal. Caution: For hygienic reasons, use the disposable gloves supplied with the treatment unit
when replacing it.

28. Disconnect permasolvent primus 2.1 from the mains by pulling out the mains plug.
29. Close the shut-off valves upstream and downstream of the unit and depressurise the
unit by opening the vent valve.
30. Disconnect the four-pin connector from the treatment unit (Abbildung 12).
31. Loosen the pressure body with the assembly key (Abbildung 13), unscrew it from the
connection head and place it on the floor (Abbildung 14). The water from the treatment
unit drains off. If it is not possible to unscrew the pressure body for reasons of space,
the union nut between the head and the connection piece can be loosened.
32. Pull the old treatment unit out of the connection head and dispose of it.
33. Remove the protective caps from the new treatment unit. Insert the treatment unit
through the through-holes in the head (Abbildung 15). If the distance to the floor is small
(< 90cm), first place the treatment unit in the pressure body. To guide the treatment
unit to the head, bring the pressure body with the treatment unit under the connection
head. Attention: Make sure that the O-rings in the connection head are clean and insert
the new O-ring supplied for the flange seal between the cup and the head.
34. Screw the pressure body to the connection head hand-tight (Abbildung 16). Plug in the
four-pin connector (Abbildung 17).
35. Carry out commissioning according to chapter 7, point 1 to point 4.
36. Reset procedure: Reset the residual capacity by pressing the button on the right side of
the electronics for longer than 5 seconds until the acoustic signal sounds.
