6. DEVICE ASSEMBLY

The delivery must be checked for completeness with regard to the contents described in the scope
of delivery. If permasolvent primus 2.1 systems are to be installed in installation systems that are
not used for drinking water supply or in combination with other devices for water treatment,
perma-trade Wassertechnik GmbH must always be consulted for expert advice before installation.
Mounting PT-P25-2.1 or PT-PV25-2.1
Both unit types can be installed in a horizontal as well as in a vertical pipeline. The flow direction
can be adjusted accordingly by turning the connection flange.
Installation is preferably directly after the house inlet filter or in the cold water inlet to the water
heater.

To ensure a comfortable exchange of the active unit, we recommend a floor distance to the centre
of the pipe greater than 90 cm. Shut-off valves must be kept closed during the installation process.
37. Mounting the wall bracket: Mount the wall bracket firmly on the wall using the four screws
and dowels supplied (Abbildung 1). The wall bracket is aligned with the centre of the pipe
using the notches in the side of the wall bracket.
38. Mounting the connection piece: When mounting the connection piece, observe the flow
direction indicated by the arrow. The insert with the backflow preventer must be mounted
on the inlet side. For the PT-PV25-2.1, screw on the PT-V25 water treatment unit behind the
connection piece in the direction of flow.
Loosely attach the connection piece to the wall bracket with the M8 threaded screws through
the slotted hole (Abbildung 2). The wall distance can be adjusted variably thanks to the
slotted hole. For wall distances of the pipe centre < 6.5 cm, cut the front part of the retaining
bracket at the shoulder to length. Install the connection piece or combination of connection
piece and PT-V25 firmly into the existing house connection pipe using connection fittings. For
a stable connection between the connector and the wall bracket, tighten M8 threaded
screws firmly.
