When the capacity limit of the treatment unit is reached or 5 years have passed since
commissioning, the red LED goes on continuously and a continuous tone of 2 minutes at 8-hour
intervals signals that the treatment unit needs to be replaced.
If the acoustic signal for replacing the treatment unit is perceived as disturbing, the fault signal
can be suspended for a volume of 5 m
for at least 10 sec.).
Continuous tone
If there is no water withdrawal with a volume flow > 2 l/min over a period of 22 days (e.g. due to
a holiday trip), this is signalled by a continuous tone.
If more than 2 l/min water has been tapped in the last 22 days and the continuous tone still
sounds, please contact the service technician (blockage of the flow turbine). To switch off the
continuous tone, disconnect the mains plug and reconnect it.

2. operation of the permasolvent primus 2.1 via app
The permasolvent primus 2.1 can be read out and operated via the "my perma-trade" app. As this
is a local W-LAN, this functionality is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the permasolvent
primus 2.1 electronics.
Operating data such as residual capacity, volume flow and treatment intensity can be displayed.
An error log can be read out by the customer service and some of the water treatment parameters
can be configured.
Connect to the product:
13. Install the app "my perma-trade" from the app store
14. Activate the W-LAN on the permasolvent primus 2.1 by briefly pressing the button on
the right side of the electronics for 1 second. Caution: Pressing the button for longer (5
sec.) triggers the reset process.
15. Connect your smartphone to the local W-LAN of the permasolvent 2.1 limescale
protection device.
16. Open the "my perma-trade" app and follow the instructions under "Connect product".
With PT-P40-2-2.1 or PT-P40-3-2.1, the individual units must be connected individually. To do this,
select the W-LAN corresponding to the serial number via the W-LAN settings. You will find the
serial number on the type plate on top of the electronics.
