The backflow preventer included in the scope of delivery must be installed in the water inlet
upstream of the large unit.
be installed.
The unit should preferably be installed directly downstream of the house inlet filter or in the cold
water inlet to the water heater. When choosing the location, please consider the accessibility to
the floor-standing unit, also with regard to the later necessary replacement of the active units.
Flush the drinking water pipes thoroughly before installing the large unit. All components are only
preassembled hand-tight and must be checked again for leaks after assembly (PN max. 10 bar).
7. COMMISSIONING
The following order of commissioning must be strictly observed!
16. Bring permasolvent primus 2.1 to line pressure by carefully opening the shut-off valve
in the supply and vent via the vent valve on the connection flange. Floor-standing units
PT-P40-2-2.1 and PT-P40-3-2.1 are preferably vented at the vent valves of the two
stopcocks.
17. Then flush at a nearby tap with at least 30 litres of water for PT-P25-2.1 / PT-PV25-2.1
or 60 litres of water for PT-P40-2.1. For large units, rinse for longer.
18. Open the shut-off valve or valves.
19. For PT-P25-2.1 and PT-P40-2.1, insert the hollow plug of the external power supply unit
on the underside of the treatment electronics and plug the power supply unit into a
mains socket. For large units, connect multiple socket to the mains connection.
20. For the duration of the self-test, all blue LEDs light up for a few seconds as a running
light as well as the red LED. Subsequently, all 5 blue LEDs signal a correct electrical
connection to the mains voltage (Abbildung 9).
