Mounting PT-P40-2.1
The unit is installed horizontally in the pipeline. The flow direction can be adjusted accordingly by
turning the connection flange. Installation is preferably directly after the house inlet filter or in
the cold water inlet to the water heater. To ensure a comfortable exchange of the active unit, we
recommend a floor distance to the centre of the pipe greater than 90 cm. Shut-off valves must be
kept closed during the installation process.
44. Mounting the wall bracket: Mount the wall bracket firmly on the wall using the four screws
and dowels supplied. Align the wall bracket with the centre of the pipe using the notches on
the side of the wall bracket.
45. Mounting the connection piece: When mounting the connection piece, observe the flow
direction indicated by the arrow. The insert with the backflow preventer must be fitted on
the inlet side.
Attach the connection piece loosely to the wall bracket with the M8 threaded screws through
the slotted hole. The wall distance can be adjusted variably thanks to the slotted hole. For
wall distances of the pipe centre < 8 cm, cut the front part of the retaining bracket at the
shoulder to length. Install the connection piece firmly in the existing house connection pipe
by means of connection fittings. For a stable connection between the connection piece and
the wall bracket, tighten the M8 threaded screws.
46. Mounting the vent hose: Attach the enclosed vent hose to the vent valve.
47. Mounting pressure body incl. active unit and head: Fasten assemblies to the connector via
the threads on the head using the union nut.
48. Mounting the electronics holder: Guide the electronics holder supplied with the electronics
over the functional contour on the head and screw it on with the M8 screw.
49. Mounting the electronics: Hook the electronics into the electronics holder. Insert the Hall
sensor into the Hall sensor receptacle on the connection flange and seal it hand-tight with
the union nut.
50. Mounting the four-pole plug: Insert the two four-pole plugs into the contact pins protruding
from the head.
Mounting PT-P40-2-2.1 or PT-P40-3-2.1
The two large units are pre-assembled floor-standing units that are integrated into the drinking
water installation by means of G 1 ½" connection fittings.
