2. Once all cooker hood cables at the back are led to the top, lift the unit and hang it on the mounting bracket.
Warning
Beware of sharp edges during mounting and maintenance. Use protective gloves.
Consider the unit weight when mounting!
Note:
Make sure that the unit is completely vertical and horizontal once mounted on the wall. Check with a spirit
level.
Make sure there is at least 2 mm gap between the unit and the cupboard to prevent vibration noises.
6.3.3.1 Wiring and configuration
Connect control signal wires from the cooker hood to any
free universal input and 24 V on the external connection
board (figure 2). For more information about connection
board see 8.2 External connections (Connection board),
page 50.
Note:
Configuration of the Cooker Hood Function
can be done only after the first power up of
the SAVE VTR 100/B unit and competed
startup wizard.
Configuration
1. Go to Service menu
2. Enter password (default 1111)
3. Go to Input menu. Select UNIVERSAL tab.
4. Select the universal input to which the cooker hood is connected. Example if it is connected to UI1 on the connection
board, then select UNIVERSAL INPUT 1. Set signal type as Digital input and select an option Cooker Hood
Function from the input type list.
Important
Make sure configuration is logged in the commissioning record!

Installation with 392–10/B cooker hood
The SAVE VTR 100/B is to be mounted above a stove.
