PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Functionality
AQA drink 1 CAS is a water dispenser which is
connected directly to the drinking water sup-
ply. This provides an unlimited supply of clean
drinking water. In addition, the environment is
protected because the expensive transport of
mineral water bottles and gallons can be dis-
pensed with. The device was developed ac-
cording to the latest state of the art. Its filtra-
tion system removes impurities such as
sediments, chlorine and particles. Thanks to its
unique Class A UV technology, a supply of
clean, fresh water is guaranteed – free of harm-

ful bacteria.
The water dispenser, which is connected to the
main water supply, provides for an immediate
and continuous supply of clean, fresh water.
The delivery and storage of large water bottles
is eliminated, as is the lugging and lifting of
heavy gallons, which is a health hazard.
The UV lamp is integrated into the dispenser
unit when water is dispensed, destroying
harmful bacteria in the water. During storage in
the tank or when the unit is not in use (week-
ends or holidays), the water is cooled. The sup-
ply of clean, fresh water at any time is thus en-
sured.

AQA drink Hygiene Service
AQAdrink water dispensers are technical prod-
ucts which make drinking water available to
the end user in a hygienically treated form at
the point of use. In order to ensure optimal op-
eration as well as the best possible water qual-
ity, proper and regular maintenance is also re-
quired. This requires
professional maintenance. Please refer to "8.
Maintenance and hygiene" on page 33 and "7.
Installation and commissioning" on page 29.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

These installation and operating instructions
contain basic information on what must be ob-
served during operation and maintenance. It
must therefore be read by the personnel re-
sponsible before installation and start-up. It
must always be available at the place of use of
the device. Observe not only the general safety
instructions listed in this section «Safety in-
structions», but also the special safety instruc-
tions included in other sections.

Personnel qualification and training
The personnel for installation, commissioning,
operation, maintenance and service of the de-
vice must have the appropriate qualification for
this work. The area of responsibility, authority
and monitoring of the device must be precisely
regulated by the operator.
Dangers in case of non-observance of the safe-
ty instructions
Non-observance of the safety instructions may
result in danger to persons as well as to the
environment and the device. Failure to comply
with the safety instructions will result in the
loss of any claims for damages. In detail,
non-observance may result in the following
hazards, for example:
» Failure of important functions on the device
» Failure of prescribed methods for mainte-
nance and troubleshooting
» Danger to persons due to electrical and
mechanical effects
Safety-conscious work
The safety instructions listed in this EBA, the
existing national regulations for accident pre-
vention and any internal work, operating and
safety regulations of the operator must be ob-
served. If the device is used in combination
with other devices/machines, the correspond-
ing operating instructions must be observed.
