Caution! For safety reasons, in the event of a gas leak, the CO2 concentration in the
room must not exceed 3%. During the installation of the CO2 gas cylinders, it is re-
commended that the maximum CO2 cylinder content should be determined in advan-
ce in accordance with the available room size or the available room volume.
The CO2 gas concentration is calculated as follows:

If the calculated gas concentration of 3% is ex-
ceeded, the following measures are possible:
» Use of a smaller CO2 gas cylinder
» Increase in the size of the room (e. g. by
removing doors)
» Installation of a CO2 gas warning device in
accordance with DIN 6653–2
» Installation of technical ventilation

Note! A functional check of the gas
pressure reducer should be car-
ried out before installing the CO
cylinder.
The CO pressure should be set to 3 to 3,5

bar. Depending on personal taste, up to 4
bar can be set. The higher the pressure, the
more sparkling the water.
Functional check and connection
1 Check the gas pressure reducer for visible
external damage

2 Screw the gas pressure reducer onto the
CO2 cylinder.
3 Close the shut-off valve
4 Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve
and close it again

5 Check for leaks.
6 Open the pressurised gas cylinder valve
