dispenser has the following connections (fig.
3):

5.3 FUNCTION OF THE UV-SYSTEM
The BWT AQA drink 1 CAS is equipped with a
modern UVC LED disinfection reactor, which is
installed directly before the water outlet. This
prevents the system from being contaminated
with bacteria that may be present at the outlet
(e.g. when a user touches the outlet). The UV
reactor is automatically activated when ambi-
ent or cooled, still water is dispensed. The UV
symbol (see Fig. 2) on the display indicates the
correct function of the UV system, in which it
lights up when water
is dispensed. In addition, the UV reactor acti-
vates automatically every 4 hours for 10 sec. to
prevent recontamination. For more hygienic
safety.
Note! If the symbol for the UV
lamp (see Fig. 2) flashes red during
the water dispensing process (am-
bient/cooled still), contact a BWT service
technician.
5.4 BASE (OPTIONAL)
The AQA drink 1 CAS water dispenser (fig. 4) is
also available with an optional base for install-
ing the water dispenser as a free-standing unit.
The base has height-adjustable feet on the un-
derside and an integrated cup dispenser on
the front. A wastewater tank with a wastewater
level sensor is connected to the upper section
inside the base (fig. 5 and fig. 6). The cable for
the level sensor in the cabinet is connected to
the plug on the left-hand side of the base plate
of the water dispenser.
The scope of supply for the base comprises:
