Stand-alone device
The cabinet includes a second drip tray; this
must be used in conjunction with the cabinet.
The second drip tray is connected to the
wastewater tank, which is mounted in the cab-
inet. Connect the prepared plug in the cabinet
to the water level sensor mounted in the waste-
water tank.

INSTALLING THE FILTER

Observe the installation and operating instruc-
tions for the installation of filters. We recom-
mend using BWT filters, which are ideally suit-
EN
ed for the device.
7.4
CONNECTING THE WATER AND
FILLING THIS SYSTEM
Caution! When installing accesso-
ries (hoses, connection kits), ob-
serve the installation dimensions
and bending radii.
A new connection kit (connection pieces,
seals and hoses) must be used to connect
the device to the water supply. Do not use a
used connection kit!
To connect the device, use only hoses that
comply with DVGW W 543 (DVGW – Ger-
man Technical and Scientific Association for
Gas and Water).
»
Install a shut-off valve before the device.
»
Install the pressure reducer, the water stop
and the water filter correctly and connect
the cold water pipe to the water dispenser
(WATER INLET).
»
Set the pressure reducer to 3 bar to limit
the incoming water pressure at the device.
»
Long connection tubes will cause signifi-
cant pressure drop. When these are used
check the actual pressure directly in front
of the dispenser. The filter itself does cause
a pressure drop of ca. 0.2–0.5 bar which
should also be accounted for. The unit
needs at least 2 bar of pressure to operate
nominally.
»
Open the shut-off valve.
»
Connect the unit to the mains supply and
switch it on at the rear using the SODA or
COLD switch.
»
Wait 2 minutes until the carbonator have
filled automatically.
»
Press the selection button for still, cold wa-
ter (COLD) until water comes out of the wa-
ter outlet.

Check the device for possible leaks.
»
After 20 minutes, the full cooling capacity is
reached and the unit is now ready for use.

CO2 GAS CYLINDER:
CALCULATION, INSTALLATION &
CHANGE
Caution! Observe the manufactu-
rer's warnings and transportation
and storage regulations. Protect
gas cylinders from excessive heat, mechani-
cal damage and corrosive substances. Do
not connect or store gas cylinders in zones
with an increased fire hazard.
Place gas cylinders at a distance of at least
0.5 m from radiators. Place gas cylinders so
that they are easily accessible.
Place gas cylinders away from emergency
exits and escape routes.
Store full and empty gas cylinders separate-
ly and according to the type of gas.
Gas cylinders may only be stored and trans-
ported when the covering cap is screwed
on. Gas cylinders must be stored upright
and secured against falling over.
Only connect gas cylinders with pressure
reducers and safety valves.
In the event of leaks or fire: close the cylin-
der valves immediately. Cool heated cylin-
ders with water.
In workshops and laboratories, set up only
as many reserve cylinders as you need for
continuous operation.
Do not oil or grease cylinder valves.
Close the cylinder valves when the unit is to
be decommissioned or when the gas cylin-
ders are empty.
Once the device is connected to the water
supply, the CO
gas cylinder can be installed.
2
Use only food grade CO
(E290).
