3 Tools and Aids required
For the correct installation of the Membrane injection sys-
tem MIS40D the following tools and aids are required in
addition to the usual standard tools:
Tools:
1 drill with drill bit or drilling tool for opening Ø 40-
50 mm
1 Hauff quick clamping device MIS40 SVS, reusable, 1 in-
cluded per packaging unit
1 double-barrel cartridge gun (for double cartridges)
1 M4 x 70 Allen screw (only with MIS40 2x5-7)
1 saw
1 metre rule

1 side cutter
1 Phillips screwdriver
Aids
- Lubricant (e.g. soapy water)
- Marker
A cartridge gun is required for the correct use of
the expansion resin. This can be ordered directly
through Hauff-Technik (see Fig.: 1).
The Hauff quick clamping device MIS40 SVS is a
reusable assembly tool and can be ordered sepa-
rately through Hauff-Technik (see Fig.: 2).

5 Preparing for installation

Create an opening with Ø 40-50 mm (see Fig.: 5).
Guidance can either be manual or using a drill stand.
