To install the press seal correctly, you will need the fol-
lowing tools, auxiliaries and accessories in addition to the
usual tools:

Preparing for assembly
Clean the core drilling/liner and media line.
Level out any chips and/or voids which may be
present.
Check the diameter tolerance of the core drilling/
liner (D) and media line (d1/d2), as well as outer or
drilling dimension of the press seal (see fi g.: 2).
The wall sleeve must be dimensionally accurate,
smooth and inherently stable.

Adapter rings are available for core drill holes/
wall sleeves with inner diameter 104 mm and
110 mm. The adapter ring must be installed
before laying the cables (see fi g.: 3)! Please
refer to a separate installation instructions for
„Adapter Ring AR".

Application range:
1 cable Ø 10/25/32/40 mm
3 cables Ø 6-18 mm
Mount the press seal
Swing open the press seal, remove the relevant
blindplug and push up the segment rings to sepa-
rate them (see fi g.: 4 and 5).
Segment ring
If necessary, cut the segment rings with a sharp
knife at the sectioning point and then pull off (see
DE
