Protection/control function
This function is responsible
for protecting tapes or the
machine itself against damage
due to a change in the
operating conditions of the VTR and the environmen-
tal conditions
or due to faulty button operation or
mechanism's malfunction, as well as for controlling the
[Types of protection |
The following ten types of protection takes place as neces-
sary.
1. Tape end sensing in forward travel
Mode:
