ADJUSTMENT OF Y/C RECORD CIRCUIT
@ Adjustment of EE Level
1. Put the unit in RECORD mode.
2. Apply colour bar signal to the unit. Oberve the output
ot TP-403
on oscilloscope (internal trigger), and adjust
R209 (EE level control) so that the waveform
will be
shown. (Fig. 99)
@ FM 3.8MHz/4.75MHz Adjustment
Note:
This adjustment shall be made only when [201 is replaced
or there is found a mis-alignment of the carrier set (3.8MHz)
control and deviation (4.75MHz) control.
1. Put the unit in RECORD
mode, and apply color bar
signal to the unit.
2. Rotate
R213
(white
clip control) fully clockwise and
R220
(dark
clip control)
fully counterclockwise,
to
cancel the clipping.
. Connect a frequency counter to TP-204.
4. Adjust C226 (3.8MHz control) so that the counter reads
3.8MHz.
5. Conriect a regulated power source to pin dé of 1201,
and observe DC voltage on oscilloscope.
6. Adjust
the
regulated
power
so
that
the
frequency
counter
reads 4.75MHz:
remember
DC voltage at this
time,
7. Apply stair-like
waveform
to the input terminal,
and
adjust R229
(NL level control) so that the white peak
voltage will be the same as obtained in step 6. above.

@ Adjustment of White/Dark Clip
1. Put the unit in RECORD mode, and apply +B voltage to
pin (3 of 1201.
2. Apply colour bar signal (stair-like wave) to the unit, and
set the input of TP-201 to be about 1Vp-p.
3. Observe
the
output
of TP-202
on
oscilloscope,
and
adjust R213
(white clip control) and R220 (dark clip
control)
so that
the respective
waveforms
will be as
shown. (Fig. 101)
4. Stop to apply +B voltage to pin (E) of 1201.
