CHECKING OF REWIND AUXILIARY BRAKE TORQUE

Set the reel hub (with several turns of a tape on it) on

the cassette
housing,
put the unit in REW

mode
and check that the brake torque of the take-up
reel disk is 7.7 to 19.2 gr.
Note:
Use a vinyl tape (black) to cover the photo receiving
cells of the photo detector (the end sensor and start
sensor) to close off light from entering.
Move
the eject lever to lock the cassette housing, and

see that the tension
