USING THE MASTER PLANE
The master plane is necessary to adjust the height of the
take-up and supply reel disks.
1. Remove the cassette housing and gently place the

Note:
Do not hit the drum with the master plane.

REPLACEMENT, ASSEMBLY AND HEIGHT ADJUST-
MENT OF THE REEL DISKS (See Fig. 53)
@ Replacement
* Supply reel disk:
1. Remove the tension band.
2. Remove the E-ring @ .
3. Remove the clearance adjusting water (2) .
4. Withdraw the supply reel disk @ upwards, and replace.

* Take-up reel disk:
1. Remove the counter belt (7)
2. Remove the E-ring (1) .
3. Remove the clearance adjusting washer @ 4
4. Withdraw the take-up reel disk @ upwards, and re-
place.
* At this time, also remove the washer ©) and clean it.
