Prior to the Adjustment:
Most of the electrical adjustments are required after me-
chanical
parts (video head included) have been replaced.
Check that all the mechanical functions are normal before
attempting adjustment
of the electrical circuit. Electrical
adjustments
require proper trouble shooting. After repair
or
parts
replacement
the
following
alignments
may
be
required.

alignment
tape, recording tape
(VHS standard), VTVM.
ADJUSTMENT OF POWER CIRCUIT
@ Adjustment of REG 9 V
1. Colour monitor TV, oscilloscope, colour bar generator,
2. Connect VTVM to TP-903, with TP-904 grounded.
3. Adjust R929 so that
VT VM reads 9.2+0.1V.
ADJUSTMENT OF SERVO CIRCUIT

Adjustment of REG 12V
. Set the video/TV selector to ''video"' position, and put
the unit in E.E. mode.
. Connect VTVM to TP-901, with TP-904 grounded.
. Adjust R936 so that VTVM reads 12.3+0.1V.
Adjustment of Battery Indicator
. Using DC power source, apply DC 11.0V to the battery
jack of the unit.
. Adjust
R906
so that the battery indicator pointer is
positioned at the boundary of the red and blue zones as
shown in the figure.
