ADJUSTMENT OF BRAKE SOLENOID
1. Slightly loosen the screw at the brake solenoid angle of
the supply side (or take-up side) brake, so as to cause
the solenoid to move to and fro lightly.
2. Keeping
the solenoid's
core attracted, shift the sole-
noid to left (or to right) to get the brake lever away
from
the supply reel disk (or the take-up reel disk).
3. Shift the solenoid to right (or to left) to such degree
that there is an interval of 1.0 mm
between the brake
lever and supply reel disk (or take-up reel disk).
4. Retighten the screw (C3P + 6S) at the brake solenoid
angle.
5. After
the
adjustment,
check
that
a stroke
of the
brake
solenoid
is within
1.5 mm
and that the brake
solenoid action is normal.
AKJUSTMENT OF REWIND SOLENOID
1. Slightly
loosen
the
screw
(C3P
+ 6S) at the rewind
solenoid angle to cause the rewind solenoid to move
lightly.
2. Keeping
the rewind solenoid attracted, shift it back-
wards
so
that
the rewind
idler gets off the supply
reel disk.
3. Shift the rewind solenoid to right (or to left) to such

BELT

BELT
1. Remove the rewind belt.
2. Remove the two tapping screws using a phillips screw-
driver, detach the capstan angle and replace the capstan
belt.

Note:
° Do not take the front and rear surfaces of the capstan
belt for each other: the front surface is given a yellow
mark.
°Turn
the capstan
pulley, then check
that the new
capstan
belt is running
on the center
of its track.
© Do not have the new rewind belt twisted when set
in place.
