Inserting the tensioning rope on untensioned
units with one spring
1. On the right-hand side of the unit: Push
the tensioning rope (5) onto the D39 pulley
block (4) of the end cap (1) from above.
2. Attach the end cap (1) to the front side of the
side channel (3).
3. Screw in place with an M6 flange screw
without ratchet (2) using a WS 10 open-end
spanner.
4. Guide the tensioning rope (5) along to the
D33 pulley block (6) in the carriage (7) and
into the projection profile (8).
5. Guide the tensioning rope over the D33
pulley block of the preloading tail.
6. Guide the tensioning rope onwards from the
D33 pulley block of the preloading tail over
the rope block on the spring.
7. On the left-hand side of the unit: Lay the
tensioning rope as described for the right-
hand side.
8. Connect the two ends of the rope with the
rope clamp provided at the point marked
with a sticker, pull taut and screw loosely in
place with a WS 4 allen key.
9. To fasten the side channels to the roof
support.
10. The tensioning position to which the spring
is pre-tensioned is indicated with a marker
point in the projection profile and information
regarding tensioning is provided on the
sticker in the projection profile cover.
11. Screw the rope clamp in place with a WS 4
allen key, if the springs are tensioned
slightly.
