2.1 Evaporator, ventilator and
condensate tray
The evaporator, ventilator and condensate drain must be
cleaned of contamination (leaves, twigs, etc.). Contamination
on the evaporator must be washed away with a jet of water
(max. 3 bar). To do this, open the upper covering panels. The
lower covering panels must be kept closed when cleaning the
device.
CAUTION!
Before opening the covering, ensure that
the power supply to the device is
disconnected externally. Caution: multiple
electric circuits (supply voltage/control
voltage).
Opening and closing the covering panel

Correct any deformation of the evaporator fins (air cooler) using
a suitable fin comb.
NOTE
Direct the jet of water horizontally.
Check whether the condensate tray is clean; dirt residue and
foreign objects must be removed.

2.2 Connections, electrical
Open the heat pump's switch box.
Check the electrical components and terminal connections in
the switch box:
General visual inspection.
Are the terminal connections secure?
Check that the plug connections are correctly fitted.
Are there traces of charring/scorching?
Is there any contact corrosion?
Check for damage on the switch box, in particular:
Has it been correctly fitted?
Is the gasket on the cover OK?
Are the fastening screws secure?
Have the cable feed-throughs been securely fitted?
Have the cables been securely fitted (pull on them by
hand)?
Immediately replace any faulty gaskets.
Cable feed-throughs must have been securely fitted.
Immediately replace any damaged or non-functional cable
feed-throughs.
Immediately replace any faulty or missing screws.
Make sure that the covering panels are removed from the de-
vice for the shortest possible period of time.
Fit the panels correctly again for longer pauses in work (> 1 h)
and once the work is complete.
2.3 Interior of the heat pump
Check the interior of the heat pump for any damage, contami-
nation and unintended leakages.
