Main pow er sw itch
T o t u r n o n t h e t o o l , p r e s s t h e m a i n p o w e r b u t t o n . T o t u r n
off the tool, press and hold the main power button until
the main power lamp goes off.

e uipped with lock-off lever which prevents the
tool from unintended starting. NEVER use the tool
if it runs w hen you simply pull the s w itch trigger
without pressing the lock-off lever. Return the
tool to our authori z ed service center for proper
repairs BEFORE further usage.

CAUTION:
Before installing the battery car-
tridge into the tool, al w ays check to see that the
s w itch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the " OFF " position w hen released. O p e r a t i n g a t o o l
w i t h a s w i t c h t h a t d o e s n o t a c t u a t e p r o p e r l y c a n l e a d
to loss of control and serious personal injury.
CAUTION:
Never put your finger on the main
po w er button and s w itch trigger w hen carrying
the tool. T h e t o o l m a y s t a r t u n i n t e n t i o n a l l y a n d c a u s e
injury.
NOTICE:
Do not pull the s w itch trigger hard w ith-
out pressing the lock-off lever. This can cause
s w itch breakage.
T o p r e v e n t t h e s w i t c h t r i g g e r f r o m
pulled, a lock-off lever is provided. To start the tool,
depress the lock-off lever and pull the switch trigger.

Speed adjusting
You can adjust the tool speed using the adjusting lever.
To adjust the tool speed, move the lever while depress-
ing the lock-off lever and pulling the switch trigger.
T o i n c r e a s e t h e s p e e d , m o v e t h e l e v e r d o w n w a r d . T o
d e c r e a s e t h e s p e e d , m o v e t h e l e v e r u p w a r d . W h e n t h e
adjusting lever is in the uppermost position, the tool
s t o p s .

Reverse button for debris removal
WARNING:
the battery cartridge before you remove entan-
gled w eeds or debris w hich the reverse rotation
function can not remove. Failure to switch off and
r e m o v e t h e b a t t e r y c a r t r i d g e m a y r e s u l t i n s e r i o u s
personal injury from accidental start-up.
