n) Selecting the operating mode
The code lock can be used in the so-called "bypass mode" instead of the normal mode (default
setting). The changeover contact enters the bypass mode by entering a special bypass code
and remains active until the same code is entered once again.
The procedure for programming the bypass code is described in section 8. o) below.
You can use the bypass mode when the door should remain open for some time so that service-
men or suppliers could get inside.
Proceed as follows:
• Enter the master code twice to start the programming mode, as described in section 8. a).
The yellow LED must light up.
• Enter the programming code to select mode:
• The code lock will emit 2 beeps.
• Select the desired mode:
= Normal mode: The changeover contact is enabled via transponder and/or user codes.
= Bypass mode: The bypass code is active in addition to normal mode functionality. Enter-
ing the bypass code permanently activates the changeover contact (for programming, see
section 8. o). Control functionality of valid transponders/user codes is disabled. Repeated
entering of the bypass code deactivates the changeover contact and the code lock responds
to valid transponders/user codes.
• The code lock will emit a long beep.
• Other settings can now be made, if desired. Press the
mode.
