Step 2: Restore the Factory Defaults in the BD Veritor™ InfoWiFi
This step enables the following two barcode formats:
• Interleaved 2 of 5 between 2 and 54 digits and
• Codabar
The test barcodes will be acknowledged with a beep if the
configuration was successful. Restart the procedure below
Procedure
1 Turn the BD Veritor™
Plus Analyzer on and scan the
barcode at right while the Scan
Config Barcode screen is
displayed.
A successful scan results in a
beep and the red light will turn
off.
The red light will turn back on
after a brief delay.
2 Scan the next 5 barcodes
within 30 seconds after the red
light turns back on.
a For 3 seconds, aim the
scanner so that the red
light extends beyond both
ends of this barcode.
There will be NO BEEP at
this step.
b For 3 seconds, aim the
scanner so that the red
light extends beyond both
ends of this barcode.
There will be NO BEEP at
this step.
c For 3 seconds, aim the
scanner so that the red
light extends beyond both
ends of this barcode.
There will be NO BEEP at
this step.
