Required Information and Materials

Ensure the following information and materials are available prior to performing this procedure. It
may be necessary to contact your IT department for login credentials.
2.1 BD Synapsys™ Informatics Solution information
• Determine how your institution is connecting the BD Veritor™ Plus Analyzer to your
BD Synapsys™ Informatics Solution.
• If the connection is using a wireless access point on the same network as your
BD Synapsys™ Informatics Solution install, this will be considered an "On Premise"
install, and the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) will be required.
To locate the FQDN:

• If the BD Veritor™ Plus Analyzer is connecting to BD Synapsys™ Informatics Solution
over the internet, this will be considered a "Cloud" install, and you will only need to enter
your region (e.g., US, Europe, Japan).
• BD Synapsys™ Informatics administrative username and password
• Invitation link to the BD Veritor™ Device Registration Portal: provided in an email from BD
• Temporary password: provided in email from BD
• BD Synapsys™ Informatics Solution serial number
