Patient Positioning (For TMJ close)
"Do you want to capture a TMJ Close image?" message will appear when the

TMJ Open mode is completed. Press/Click the OK button to begin TMJ Close
mode.
Guide the patient to the equipment again.

Ask the patient to rest the acanthion point (the base of the nose) on Special Bite A

and tilt the head forward about 5˚. Ensure that the patient's jaw does not touch
the equipment. It can be difficult for the patient to stay in the proper posture if his
or her jaw touches the equipment.
Ask the patient to follow the instructions below until the imaging procedure ends:

• Close the mouth.
• Place the tongue on the roof of the mouth.
• Close the eyes.
Laser Beam Aligning (for TMJ close)
The procedure is the same as the one in the TMJ Open mode.
Finishing Patient Positioning (for TMJ close)
The procedure is the same as the one for the TMJ Open mode.
