LABOROTA 20 control automatic features the following control components:
 Automatic product refill
o Product is sucked into evaporator flask by vacuum pressure.
o Refill system for the evaporator flask features solenoid valve for product tank.
o A weight sensor is monitoring min. and max. fill of the evaporator flask. Both
parameters are easy to adjust by the user.
o A product sensor monitors availability of the product in its feed line. As soon as all of
the product in the tank has been supplied to the evaporator flask, solenoid valve is
going to close automatically. This way, sucking ambient air into the evaporator flask
is impossible. Product may be distilled to the degree wanted.
o Flow rate of the product may be regulated by a valve installed in the feed pipe.
 Automatic product drain via valve matrix
o Discharging of product is organized by 4 valves situated on the condensate cooler.
o The condensate is chilled in the condensate cooler and kept there for a short time.
o After valves 1 and 4 are closed, valves 2 and 3 are opened and condensate can
flow out by gravity. To overcome greater distance to a container valve 3 can also be
pressurized (max. 0.5 bars).
o Seconds later valves 2 and 3 are shut again and valves 1 and 4 are opened,
allowing again condensate to run in to the condensate cooler.
 Manual pump aeration
o Vacuum pump can be aerated at any time from the panel
o Aeration is to clean the pump's valves from condensated solvents to keep up full
functions.
