- EXCESS RIPPLE DETECTED:
The rectifying and levelling system
of the charge voltage is NOT working
properly.
Check the alternator is firmly assembled
and that the belts are in good condition
and working properly. If assembly and
the belts are good, assess whether to
replace the alternator/rectifying system.
- Press «Enter» to continue voltage testing
of the charge system at 2500 RPM of the
engine.
One of the following results of the test
will be displayed, together with the test
measurements:
- HIGH CHARGE VOLTAGE:
The output voltage from the alternator
to the battery exceeds the normal
operating limits for a regulator. Ensure
the connections are not loose and that
the ground connection is regular.
If there are no connection problems,
replace the regulator. Many alternators
are equipped with an integrated
regulator. In this case, the alternator will
need to be replaced.
- NORMAL CHARGE VOLTAGE:
No problems were found.
- LOW CHARGE VOLTAGE:
The alternator is not supplying sufficient
voltage to the electrical system and to
charge the battery. Check the belts to
ensure the alternator is rotating with
the engine running. If the belts are
slipping or broken, replace the belts
and retest the charge system. Check
the connections from the alternator to
the battery. If the connection is slow
or seriously corroded, clean or replace
the cable and retest. If the belts and
the connections are in good condition,
replace the alternator.
- Press «Enter» after completing the charge
system test. Switch off all the accessories
and the engine. Press «Enter» to read the
system test results.
PRINT TEST
- Press the ◄/► keys to select print-out of
the results: "YES" or "NO".
- Press «Enter» to confirm.
- Disconnect the clamps at the end of
printing.
TEST IN VEHICLE
This is a test that combines both the
battery test and the system test (cranking
and charge). Refer to the test procedures
described above and follow the instructions
displayed on the tester display.
PAPER REPLACEMENT (Fig. B)
- Lift the transparent cover (Fig. B-1).
- Insert the paper in the lower part of the
rubber roller (Fig. B-2).
- Close the transparent cover (Fig. B-3).

ATTENZIONE:
Prima di usare il dispositivo leggere
attentamente tutte le istruzioni.
1. SICUREZZA GENERALE PER L'USO DI
QUESTO DISPOSITIVO
- Durante la carica le batterie emanano gas
esplosivi, evitate che si formino fiamme e
scintille. NON FUMARE.
- Prima di eseguire il test posizionare le
batterie in un luogo areato.
- Per non danneggiare l'elettronica dei
veicoli, leggere, conservare, rispettare
scrupolosamente le avvertenze fornite dai
costruttori dei veicoli stessi; lo stesso vale
per le indicazioni fornite dal costruttore di
batterie.
- NON ESPORRE A PIOGGIA O NEVE.
- Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
- Proteggere gli occhi. Indossare sempre
occhiali protettivi quando si lavora con
accumulatori al piombo acido.
- Evitare il contatto con l'acido della
batteria. Nel caso si venga schizzati o si
venga a contatto con l'acido, risciacquare
immediatamente la parte interessata con
acqua pulita. Continuare a risciacquare
