Test outcome
Once the test is complete, the display will
show:
the internal resistance, the CCA, the declared
CCA (STD), the battery voltage, the results
of the SOH (STATE OF HEALTH) and the SOC
(STATE OF CHARGE).
The display also shows one of the following
judgements on the battery:
- GOOD BATTERY:
No problems found on the battery.
- GOOD - CHARGE:
The battery is good, but must be charged.
- REPLACE:
The battery has come to the end of its life
cycle and should be replaced.
- FAULTY CELL:
- The battery is damaged and has one or
more faulty or in short circuit cells.
- CHARGE AND TEST:
The battery must be charged and tested
again before deciding if it can be re-used.
If the next test gives the same judgement,
then the battery must be replaced.
4.4 DISPLAY RESULTS
The function allows you to display the
outcome of the last test, carried out on the
battery.
Only if planned by the model in use, the last
waveforms detected can be displayed.
ATTENTION: If the "erase results" option
is chosen, all the tests carried out will
be deleted and they can no longer be
displayed and/or printed.
4.5 PRINT RESULTS
The Print function allows you to print the test
data recorded by the test tool to generate
customised test reports.
To print the recovered data, the following
tools are necessary:
- Digital tester.
- PC or laptop with USB ports and internet
connection.

Carry out the following operations:
1. Download the "BTlink" application from
the website:
www.telwin.com
2. Connect the test tool to the computer with
the USB cable supplied.
3. Execute btlink.exe on the computer and
select the "PRINT" option on the top centre.
NOTE: if necessary, set the correct language
in the drop-down menu on the top right.
4. Select the
from the main menu of the tool.
5. From the tool, upload the results of the test
or the waveform (if present). The data will
be displayed on the monitor of the PC and
they will be ready for printing.
4.6 UPDATING THE SOFTWARE VERSION
PROVIDED WITH THE TESTER
- Execute btlink.exe on the computer.
- Enter "UPDATE MODE", keeping the
"ENTER" button pressed on the tool while
connecting to the PC USB port.
- Click the "check updates" icon on the
computer.
The application will try and install the last
update possible.
