The Energy Savers
With the newly designed mounting
units, half the power produces twice
the heat.
Innovative design has merged the
heating/cooling coils and the mount-
ing cylinder into one com pact and
lightweight unit. This al lows very
rapid heat transfer and therefore very
fast heating and cool ing. The power
consumption of the heating unit has
been re duced to 750 W whilst the
ef fi cien cy, compared to conventional
presses, has been increased by
about 100%. This means that less
than half the energy is required to
heat the mounting unit to the set
temperature in a shorter time than a
conventional press.
Effi cient cooling
Because of the lower mass of the
mounting unit, the cooling time is
much shorter than that of con ven -
tion al presses.
Additionally, an "economy setting"
during the cooling process re duc es
the consumption of cooling water to
about 20 % of the quan ti ty nor mal ly
used.
Recirculation cooling unit
Both ProntoPresses are equipped
with a connection for a recirculation
cooling unit. That guar an tees ad di -
tion al water sav ing.
Intermediate ram
By using an intermediate ram, the
