Trial operation and performance
5-minute delay function
• If restarting the unit after being powered off, the compressor will run about 5 minutes later to prevent any damage.
Cooling/heating operations
• Indoor units can be controlled individually but cannot run in cooling and heating modes simultaneously. If the cooling and
heating modes co-exist, the unit set latter will be on standby, and the unit set earlier will run normally. If the A/C manager
sets a fixed cooling or heating mode for the unit, it cannot run on the other modes.
Heating mode characteristics
• During operation, if the outdoor temp. rises, the indoor fan motor will reduce to a lower speed or stop running.
Defrosting in heating mode
• In heating mode, the outdoor defrosting will affect the heating efficiency. The unit will defrost for about 2~10 minutes
automatically; at this time, the condensate will flow from the outdoor unit; also, the defrosting will also create vapour on
the outdoor unit, which is normal. The indoor motor will run at a lower speed or stop, and the outdoor motor will stop.
The unit operation condition
• To ensure proper functioning of the unit, please operate it within the permitted range. If operated beyond range, the pr
tection device may activate.
• The relative humidity should be lower than 80%. If the unit runs at a humidity over 80% for a long time, the unit will co
densate and blow vapour from the air outlet.
Protection device (such as high-pressure switch)
• High pressure switch is the device that can auto-stop the unit when it runs abnormally.
When this switch functions, the cooling/heating mode will stop but the LED indicator on wired controller will still be alight.
The wired controller will display a failure code.
When the following cases occur, the protection device will activate:
In cooling mode, the air outlet and inlet of the outdoor unit are clogged.
In heating mode, indoor filter is stuck with duct; indoor air outlet is clogged.
When protection device activates, please switch off the power and re-start after carefully addressing the issues.
During a power failure
• If power fails while running, all operations will halt.
• After power is restored, if it has a restart function, the unit can resume to its previous state automatically; if it does not
have a restart function, the unit needs to be switched on manually again.
• In the event of fluctuations caused by thunder, lightning, or car/radio interference, etc., please switch off the power; after
addressing the concerns, press "ON/OFF" button to restart the unit.
Heating capacity
• The heating mode adopts the heat pump type that absorbs outdoor heat energy and releases it indoor. So if outdoor te
perature goes down, the heating capacity will decrease.
System marks
• When multi outdoor systems are installed, to mark the relationship between outdoor and indoor units, please mark the
cover of the outdoor electric control box to indicate the connected indoor unit, as shown in the figure below:
