8 - Automatic cycle in MAGIC VAC
Use this cycle to perform vacuum packing in MAGIC VAC
Universal Lids, in bottles using the MAGIC VAC
®
the MAGIC VAC Lid Attachment.
ATTENTION: Only use MAGIC VAC
P0608ED, while other types of canisters could implode due to the vacuum created by the machine and
cause injury.

MAGIC VAC Universal Lids, available in two diameters - 100 mm and 125 mm - are to be used with food
storage jars, casseroles and tempered glass bowls. MAGIC VAC

8.1- Packing in MAGIC VAC

To pack with MAGIC VAC ®
Universal Lids, proceed as follows:
a) Refill the Canister leaving a space of at least 3 cm from the upper rim of the canister
and place the lid on the canister. Turn the Knob on the lid to the "VACUUM"
position (fig. Q).
b) Using the Canister Tube (16), connect the knob on the lid of the Canister to the air
intake ACCESSORY PORT (4) on the machine (fig. Q1).
Please Note: at the beginning of the vacuum phase you may need to press down on the lids of some types of
canisters using your hand in order to hermetically seal them and make the cycle start easier.

c) Close the machine by rotating the Handles (1) to the START position (fig. Q2).
d) Press the "canister" button (2E) (fig. Q3 and Q4); the machine will perform the vacuum cycle
automatically and will shut off when the operation is complete. In any event, the pump turns itself off
automatically after about 5 minutes.
e) Detach the Canister Tube (16) from both the Canister Knob as well as the ACCESSORY PORT (4) on the
machine.
f) Turn the Canister Lid knob to the "CLOSED" position.
To open the canisters, turn the Lid Knob to the "OPEN" position; you should hear the air whistle as it
re-enters the canister. This sound is your guarantee that the contents were vacuum-packed.
