8.5 Replacing the ball screw
drive (BSD)
Dismantling the BSD
Disconnect from the mains before
dismantling!
If the ball rail table is installed
vertically or at an inclined angle, the
carriage must be prevented from
crashing down!
The BSD may only be replaced
complete with the nut. If the nut is
removed from the screw, balls will be
lost, causing the destruction of the BSD if
the nut is remounted.
• Remove the motor complete with motor
mount. 6.3 or 6.5
• Remove the bellows. 8.2
• Remove the fixed bearing block and
fixed bearing. 8.3
• Remove the floating bearing block and
floating bearings. 8.4
The screwed ring is fixed with
Loctite 638.
• Heat the screwed ring with a hot air
blower until the adhesive starts to run
and the screwed ring can be loosened.
• Unscrew and remove the screwed ring
with a ring wrench.
• Prepare V-shaped supports for the
screw with a recess for the nut.
• Carefully pull the screw, complete with
nut, out of the carriage.
• Lay the screw on the V-shaped
supports.
Do not rest the screw on the nut!
Significant bending of the screw
indicates a danger of permanent
deformation!
Longer screws (1500 mm and
more) should be supported or suspended
at several support points.
8.5 Remplacement de la vis à
billes (VAB)
Dépose de la VAB
Couper l'alimentation électrique
avant la dépose !
Si la table sur rails de guidage est
montée verticalement ou inclinée,
prévenir la chute du plateau !
La VAB doit impérativement être
changée en entier avec son écrou ! Le
retrait de l'écrou provoque la perte des
billes et la destruction de la VAB après
son remontage.
• Déposer le moteur avec la lanterne ou
le renvoi par poulies et courroie.
ou 6.5
• Déposer les soufflets. 8.2
• Déposer la traverse munie du palier
fixe. 8.3
• Déposer la traverse munie du palier
libre. 8.4
La bague filetée est bloquée avec de
la colle Loctite 638.
• Chauffer la bague filetée avec de l'air
chaud jusqu'à ce que la colle se liquéfie
et que la bague filetée se laisse
desserrer.
• Desserrer la bague filetée avec une clé
à ergots.
• Préparer un support en forme de V pour
la vis à billes avec un évidement pour
l'écrou.
• Retirer prudemment la vis à billes avec
son écrou du plateau.
• Poser la vis à billes sur le support en
forme de V.
Ne pas faire reposer la VAB sur
l'écrou !
Eviter toute flexion exagérée
pouvant provoquer une déformation
permanente !
Pour les vis longues (à partir de
1500 mm), les saisir en plusieurs en-
droits ou les supporter en plusieurs
points.

8.5 Sostituzione vite a sfere di
precisione
Smontaggio vite a sfere
Prima di iniziare lo smontaggio si
deve disinserire la tensione !
Evitare che la tavola scivoli in
basso quando la piastra base è
posizionata inclinata o in verticale.
La vite a sfere deve essere
sostituita assieme alla chiocciola. Se la
chiocciola viene sfilata dalla vite si ha la
fuoriuscita e perdita delle sfere. Il
rimontaggio di detta chiocciola comporta
in seguito un danneggiamento grave
della vite stessa.
• Smontare il motore con la flangia o il
6.3 gruppo di trasmissione a cinghia e
puleggia 6.3 o 6.5
• Smontare il soffietto.
• Smontare la traversa con il cuscinetto di
vincolo assiale. 8.3
• Smontare la traversa con il cuscinetto di
vincolo radiale. 8.4
La ghiera filettata è bloccata con
adesivo Loctite 638.
• Con riscaldatore ad aria calda, scaldare
la ghiera filettata fino a far liquefare
l'adesivo per consentire lo svitamento
della ghiera.
• Allentare la ghiera filettata con una
chiave a perni laterali ed estrarla.
• Preparare un supporto a forma di V per
la vite con uno spazio libero sotto la
chiocciola.
• Estrarre con cautela la vite con
chiocciola dalla tavola.
• Disporre la vite sul supporto a forma
di V.
Non appoggiare la vite a sfere
sulla chiocciola !
Eventuali flessioni eccessive della
vite comportano il pericolo di
deformazioni permanenti !
In caso di viti a sfere molto lunghe
– oltre 1500 mm – prevedere più punti di
appoggio alla vite per il suo
stazionamento e così pure per il suo
sollevamento.
