Important
The first time the griddle is switched on,
wash the plate to remove the protective gre-
ase and any dirt, then switch on the applian-
ce and preheat it for about 1 hour at the ma-
ximum power setting.
Operate the appliance's master switch to con-

nect it to the electrical mains.
Turn the knob (A) clockwise, to the tempera-

ture required (pos.1), to turn on the heating
elements.
The lights (C) and (D) come on; when the wor-
king temperature is reached, light (D) goes out.
Turning off
Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos.2) to

switch off the heating elements. The light (C)
goes out.
Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to

disconnect it from the electrical mains.
If the appliance is to be out of use for a lengthy
period, proceed as follows.
Cut off the mains electricity supply using the

appliance's master switch.
Clean the appliance and the surrounding areas
2)
thoroughly.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the
following rules should be adopted.
– The first time the appliance is switched on each
day, always perform an preheating.
– Use only the accessories recommended by the
constructor.
– Take care not to pour water onto the griddle
when hot, since the temperature difference
might damage the surface of the cooking
plate.
