Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by
persons not qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional
operation!
! WARNING: The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged or deformed due to the
heat!
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
! WARNING: Fast on-off-cycles (e.g. 10 min. on / 10 min. off) will reduce lamp life.
WARNING: To avoid damage of the internal parts of the fixture head, never let the
sunlight lights directly to the front lens, even when the fixture is not working!

3.2 Unpacking

This package contains the P4, two omega brackets with 1/4 turn fasteners, as well as a power
cable with PowerCon connector (no cable in model only PowerCon connector). This manual is
included 1 time per shipment. Open the top of the box and remove the inlay. Remove the unit
from the box. For any damage occuring during transport, report to the transport company im-
mediately.

4. Installation

4.1 Installing a plug on the power cord

WARNING: To ensure proper installation of the plug consult a qualified technician!
The P4 is supplied with a power cable with a Neutrik PowerCon connector. Install a 3-prong
grounding type plug that fits your supply. US model comes only with PowerCon connector. Con-
nected load: voltage 100-240 V, frequency 50 - 60 Hz
