7.3 Gobo size

7.4 Cleaning the fixture

WARNING: Switch off the lamp, allow the unit to cool down for 5 minutes, still with
!
the fans running, disconnect fixture after this time from mains! When directy view
into the beam source use a welding goggle of reduction 4-5!
To ensure a long and satisfying performance of the fix-
ture, check function of the fans in the head and in the
base from time to time. Most important: make sure that
there is no dust or fluff covering the louvers.
To clean the fixture open the head cover (3 pcs. phil-
lips screw with quater turn opener) and the baseplate.
Use a brush and a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and
fluff. Additional remove the gobo module (1) by remo-
ving the two knurled screws (2). Now you can clean the
color filters and the glas gobos with a lint-free cloth and
some window cleaer. To clean the frost and the prisms
please remove the three stops (4) by loosing the three
screws (3) with a torx screwdriver (T10). After removing
the stops you can move the prisms and the frost flaps
upwards to clean it! After cleaning of the frost and the
prisms move the flaps back in the unit and remount the
stops. Also reinsert the gobo module. Be careful not to
bend or damage any parts during cleaning.
Incompetend performance of the maintenance will invalidate the warranty claims. Consult qua-
lified service technicans!
