2. Put the stocking on inside out up to the ankle area.

Donning closed-toe medical compression stockings
The donning procedure is illustrated in the front part of
the instructions (fig. B).

9. Storage guidelines – how and how long can I store
my medical compression stockings?

The products should be stored in a dry place and
protected from direct sunlight and heat.

label indicates the latest usability date

This is the maximum shelf life of serial products in
the length of 42 months. This period already inclu-
des a maximum practical usability of 6 months (see point 6).

diate use.

10. Care guidelines – what do I have to look out for
when caring for my medical compression stockings?
Wash your stockings every day after wearing. We
recommend handwashing detergent for gentle care.

Alternatively, use a mild laundry detergent (delicate wash
at 40° C) without an optical brightener and softener.
Tip:

• We recommend turning your compression stockings
inside out when washing. Wash them separately or with
clothes of the same color.
• A washing bag better protects the stocking material.

• Do not dry clean medical compression stockings or wash
them using household detergents.
• After washing, you can roll the stockings into a towel and
squeeze. Do not leave wet stockings in a wet towel, air dry

them. Under no circumstances should they be dried in
the sun or on a radiator. Alternatively, you can delicately
tumble dry your medical compression stockings.

11. Material composition – what are your compressi-
on stockings composed of?
Compression stockings MICRO, BRILLANT, COTTON and
PROMAX STANDARD contain polyamide and elastane.
COTTON stockings also contain cotton. More detailed
information can be found on the textile label sewn on
your compression stockings.
Without latex: There is no rubber from the milk
juice of tropical plants processed in this product.
• MAXIS MICRO Compression Stockings include MICRO
PROTECTION. It is an antibacterial and antifungal
treatment that prevents the growth of fungi, bacteria
and other undesirable microorganisms.
• MAXIS BRILANT compression stockings incorporate a
special High IQ® COOL COMFORT treatment for better
moisture management.
• MAXIS COTTON compression stockings contain
microcapsules with an antibacterial effect in combina-
tion with Aloe Vera extract.
• PROMAX STANDARD compression stockings include
SOFT PROTECTION. This is an antibacterial finish
that makes the fine and thin stockings fresh and
breathable. It also contributes to better moisture
removal from the body.
12. Disposal – how do I dispose of my medical com-
pression stockings?
Please dispose of your medical compression stockings
in your normal household waste. There are no special
criteria for disposal.
