Chorum 10 Dlx – Chorum S10 – Chorum 10
3.1 SPLIT MODE OF OPERATION
Chorum 10 allows you to use the keyboard as if it were a single manual organ or two manuals.
To use the two manuals, and thus have two sections of registers, you must activate the Split mode
via the [SPLIT] button.
When the Split is turned off, Manual I and Manual II voices sound throughout the keyboard
extension. When Split is active, Manual I voices play on the keyboard to the left of the Split point
while Manual I plays to the right of the Split (Split key included).
The Bass section is monophonic, with priority assigned to the left note, and is always active.
By default, the Split point is set to the C4 key (included on the right).
To set the Split point:
Press and hold the [SPLIT] button.
1.
When the LED starts flashing, continuing to hold down [SPLIT], press a key on the
2.
keyboard. This is the new Split point.
N.B.
-
If the Split point has been set above the 32nd key (G4), the Bass section does not sound upper
notes anyway.
-
The position of the Split point is not changed with the transposer set to a value other than 0.
-
It is not possible to set the split points lower than the C2 key.
3.2 ADJUSTING THE ENSEMBLE EFFECT
Chorum 10 simulates the natural detuning between one pipe and another due to wear and tear over
time and temperature variations. This effect is called the Ensemble, and you can adjust its level. To
do so, follow this procedure:
Holding down the [SET] button press [STYLE]: the LEDs of the latter flash three times to
1.
indicate the recall of the adjustment procedure.
Press [STYLE] to select one of the four Ensemble levels, indicated by the four LEDs of the
2.
button itself.
Release the [SET] button to complete and store the adjustment operation.
3.
3.3 PITCH FINE TUNING
You can adjust the fine tuning of the instrument in a range of +- 1 semitone (415.3 Hz - 466.2 Hz).
To do so, follow this procedure:
Press and hold down the [SET] button.
1.
Press [MAN. I 4'] to raise the pitch or [MAN. II 16'] to lower it.
2.
Release the [SET] button to complete and store the adjustment operation.
3.
With the [SET] button pressed, pressing both buttons simultaneously will reset the pitch to the
standard value of 440 Hz (A4).
