6 Commissioning

DANGER
Improper operation can lead to serious injuries that could result in death.
The following instructions must be adhered to during all maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly, and repair work:
• Switch off the power source.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
• Close off the gas supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to defective or damaged gas or cable connections
There is a risk of injury and electric shock when putting the system into operation, as well as during maintenance,
servicing, assembly and disassembly.
• Always wear your protective equipment and always observe the instructions in the operating manual and work safety
regulations.
WARNING
Risk of damage to machine due to lack of protection from heat (heat shield)
Heat can be generated in the area where the welding torch is located which could result in damage to the machine if the
welding tractor is operated without a heat shield.
• Never operate the welding tractor without a mounted heat shield (9) (Fig. 2).
