7.2 Welding process
DANGER
Risk of injury due to falling welding tractor
There is a risk that extremely critical injuries can occur if the welding tractor falls when operated.
• The welding tractor may never be operated unattended. You must continuously monitor the welding torch.
• Operation of the welding tractor on inclined or vertical surfaces is permitted only with a guide rail system, which can
be purchased separately.
• Observe the work angle, Fig. 17 on page EN-25.
• Observe the difference in arm length (depends on the weight) A1 < A2 approx. 5 mm.
WARNING

Risk of burns

The welding torches reach very high temperatures during welding.
• Allow the welding torches to cool down.
• Wear the correct protective gloves.
NOTICE
• Before starting the welding process, ensure that the welding tractor is properly connected to the power supply and the
wire feeder and that the welding torch neck is well secured.
• The driving speed can be seen on the display. The value is only valid when travelling across a flat surface with
tolerances and can vary due to additional weight.
