7 Operation
NOTICE
• If needed, the guide arms can be moved so there is more or less distance from the workpiece by loosening the two
adjusting screws (8), Fig. 1 on page EN-12 and moving them in the slots. Tighten the adjusting screws (8), Fig. 1 on
page EN-12 again after making the adjustment.

2 Push the hand lever for the magnet lifter (1) down to secure the welding tractor. The magnet inside of the welding tractor
is lowered.

1 Set the desired speed with the knob (4).
2 Set the direction of movement with the switch for adjusting the direction of movement (2).

Risk of injury from moving welding tractor
The welding tractor does not stand still on its own. The welding process does not stop automatically.
• Set the switch for the direction of movement (2), Fig. 15 in the center (NO ARC) to stop the welding tractor and to end
the welding process.
3 To start the welding process, push the Welding mode selection (3) switch down (ARC ON).
4 To stop the welding process, set the Welding mode selection (3) switch in the center (NO ARC).

1 Set the desired speed with the knob (4).

• Push the START/STOP switch (5), Fig. 16 down (STOP) to stop the welding tractor and to end the welding process.
3 To start the welding process, push the Welding mode selection (8) switch up (ARC ON).
4 To stop the welding process, set the Welding mode selection (8) switch in the center (NO ARC).
